Detailed cab interiors have always fascinated me and to some are like the jewels inside the jewel box. Artisans such as the late Barry Hauge at Super Scale inspired me from the time I entered the hobby as a teenager. Barry’s plumbing fittings were like entering a parallel miniature universe with the attention to detail and impeccable functionality.

While I can only aspire to be as good as Barry was, I have developed a few items that can add to that miniature world found in the cabs of our locomotive models. I am particularly drawn to the simple efficiency of those locomotives built around the turn of the 20th Century. Here’s a few examples of my inspiration.
